The Clubhouse for Special Needs purchased 2.852 acres of land to build a 21,000+ s/f facility with a full gymnasium for our intellectually/physically challenged individuals.

Founder/President, Darlene Hollingsworth started the first after-school program for teens with disabilities.  She began with 4 young people in her 2 bedroom apartment in Bedford Texas while waiting for the leased store front building was ready to occupy.  Because the young people continued to age The Clubhouse opened it's program to All-Day.  Because of the small size of the store-front facility and it could only hold 20 people, growing was at a stand still. [A fish can only grow in ratio to the volume of water in the fish tank.] The Clubhouse found a 5,171 s/f building to purchase on Harwood in Bedford.  [That in itself was a miracle; but that's another story.]

After six more years in this amazing building, The Clubhouse was led to start the dream the Lord had given to Darlene back in 2006.  The dream is becoming a reality.  We have the land and the architects [Wright Group] and have begun the process.  Watch as we "Rise to the Challenge".  Follow us on Facebook.  Tell all you friends in HEB and surrounding cities about this amazing place that is coming.  A preliminary rendering of the new building is below.
